TEACH THEM TO BE KIND

TEACH THEM TO BE KIND

THIS…

It hits me in the heart, every time I watch it.

Why?

Well firstly, it is unthinkable to me that some kids in this day and age go without food, nourishment and sustenance but mostly –  the care that goes into a packed lunch.

No matter how rushed we are when we pack it.

No matter how rubbish a job we think w may have done.

Regardless of the healthy snacks contained within or the nutrition each item contains.

It is filled with our love for our child.

Imagining a child who does not have that love and care to guide them through this life makes me feel so bereft.

But it happens.

Which is why it is important – so very important – that we teach our children to notice these things. As alien as it may be to them in the little bubble of love you have created within your home.

Teach them to spot someone who is sad, struggling, unkempt and uncared for, and teach them to offer any little help they possibly can on any given day.

Even a smile can do so much to fill the little empty spaces that must exist within these children.

Some children are born with a short straw in this life.

It is our moral duty to share our straws with them, whenever we can.

It will make so much difference.

Ladies, if you are blessed with little souls to shape…

Teach them to be kind.

Teach them to notice.

Teach them to care.

Teach them to help.
